DHG's chance to show 'em what we're made of!

DHG's first Awareness week went with a bang as Addlestone Golf Club laid on a spectacular fire work display. The evening was finished off with a balloon race as hundreds of red balloons were launched into a smoky sky.
Last year was much quieter, unless you were at the Conference and Family weekend at Barnsdale Hall in Rutland! DHG ran a very successful conference on the Saturday and had a fun filled dinner and disco in the evening. Sunday was Family Fun Day, culminating in yet more balloons representing our children.
2007's Awareness Week begins on Saturday 27th October with the AGM in Leicester. Hopefully there will be lots of small events going on around the UK. Members will be holding coffee mornings and sponsored events. If every member was able to tell at least one person about the Down's Heart Group and why it is in existance, issues faced by our members can be highlighted and better understood.
