Emily and Jamie raised £64.50. Well Done!

Young runners Emily and Jamie need your support.

On Sunday 1st October 2006 Jamie and his big sister Emily took part in the Junior Great North Run. This is the third time they have taken part and this year they wanted to run for DHG as Emily had heart surgery when she was younger at Alder Hey hospital. Emily and Jamie both enjoy running but Emily often gets overheated. This is common in all people who have Down's Syndrome, not just those who have heart problems. With a squirt of cooling spray Emily is soon more comfortable and able to carry on.
